Part 1: The Time Side
_Chart out time usage: take time periodically through-out the day to chart out how your time is being used – practicing self-observation.
_Build time awareness: become aware of time as it is passing. You can do this in blocks - increments of a ½ hour or hour.
_See your work in time blocks: this helps to see time more realistically in terms of how long events & tasks for better planning.
_Build decision awareness: notice what kind of decisions you’re making related to how you are using time. What is getting your attention?... and for how long?
_Daily alignment: Was time spent aligned with what you wanted, including overall vision and strategy?
Note: There is extra space in the top and bottom margin for opportunities to customize. For example, the top margin could be used that for your Morning Moment – establishing an intentional mindset through a thought, an area of focus, a motivating mantra, or a quote.
Part 2: The Assessment Side
This is where you assess and record:
-How your day went
-Comments on how you used your time
-Was it aligned with intent or strategy?
-The decisions you made and why
-What can be improved tomorrow?
-What would you like to be different?
The daily discipline of observing and assessing is key here. You cannot change, what you do not see.
